From the founding days of the Sacramento Turn Verein, the "Actives" were the members who joined the organization because of their interest in gymnastic activities. In recent years, gymnastics has been replaced by a more varied set of activities including the organization of social gatherings and annual events like the October Halloween Party and the December Christkindlmarkt. The Actives are the oldest of the Sacramento Turn Verein's five sections. Their heritage is a proud one, as they carry on the prestige earned by Turners for over 150 years.

Schedule of Meetings & Events

Meetings: The Actives meet the 4th Thursday of every month at 8:00pm in the Turn Verein Basement, 3349 J Street.
